EdgeCast Partners With Gomez for Performance Measurement
EdgeCast, a provider of content delivery network services, has partnered with Gomez, a provider of web application experience management software, to offer its customers a suite of independent tools to evaluate and measure the availability and performance of its content delivery network.
As a result of the partnership, EdgeCast will immediately offer the Gomez ExperienceFirst platform to existing and potential customers. These services will enable active ‘real world’ monitoring and benchmarking of the EdgeCast content delivery network (CDN) from the Gomez ExperienceFirst network of more than 150 globally-located internet backbone nodes and 40,000 end user desktops at the ‘last mile’.
