IBM Acquires Trading Data Vendor InfoDyne

IBM has acquired for an undisclosed sum electronic trading data vendor InfoDyne.
It plans to add Park Ridge, Illinois-based InfoDyne’s data-feed capabilities to its WebSphere middleware suite, which offers front-office services for financial markets.
Tom Rosamilia, general manager at IBM WebSphere, said: “IBM is working with the world’s top financial firms on both the buyside and sellside, and with infrastructure providers and regulators, to help them adapt to the escalating volume and speed demanded by an increasingly automated and globally integrated industry.”
