Universal Detection Technology Invited to Present Its BSM-2000 Anthrax Detection Technology at the IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security

Universal Detection Technology (www.udetection.com) (OTCBB: UDTT) (FRANKFURT: PO8), a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, announced today that it will present the technology for its BSM-2000 airborne anthrax monitor in a poster session at the IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security. The conference is being held at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, Massachusetts on May 12-13.

With Technical Assistance from the Department of Homeland Security, Science & Technology Directorate, the eighth annual 2008 IEEE International Conference on Technologies for Homeland Security (HST 08) focuses on novel and innovative technologies addressing pressing national security problems. The Conference brings together over 300 innovators from leading universities, research laboratories, Homeland Security Centers of Excellence, small businesses, system integrators and the end user community to discuss emerging technologies in priority areas of interest to federal and state governments, and fosters technology commercialization by providing a forum for networking with government and business leaders.
