NSTI.org, producer of Clean Technology 2008, today announced its Early Stage Ventures Conference Program to be held in Massachusetts at the Hynes Convention Center, June 1-5th. Overall, more than 150 early stage technology companies submitted to present at the 2008 Early Stage Venture Reviews, and fifty percent have been selected to present at the Clean Technology 2008 conference.

“Clean technologies are rapidly maturing from lab to marketplace. The Clean Technology Early Stage Ventures company review provides an ideal forum for seed to early stage companies to showcase their technologies, market advantages, and to search for funding,” said Dr. Matthew Laudon is President and Founding Chair of the Clean Technology and Sustainable Industries Organization (CTSI). “Companies are given 10 minutes to present and will have on-site interaction with attendees, including investors, large companies, and government funding agencies. This year’s Vetting team includes representatives from such firms as: In-Q-Tel, Mohr-Davidow Ventures, DuPont Ventures, BASF, D.E. Shaw, Ford Motor Company, Motorola Investments, Honda, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, UBS, and Omron.”

The goal of the Early Stage funding and partnering event is to unite early stage clean technology companies with industrial users, funding sources, technology providers and the media and analysts community. This is the ideal forum for both investment interests and corporate business development opportunities. This venue will be used to promote the commercial maturation across the clean technology landscape, globally from technology to products.
