Launch Announcement: Lingospot Adds Yedda Questions &Amp; Answers
Posted on: Friday, 9 May 2008, 09:00 CDT
Lingospot (www.lingospot.com), the leading provider of in-text content discovery search services, announces a partnership with Yedda (an AOL Company) to launch the Yedda Questions and Answers service within the Lingospot in-text Discovery Bubble.
Lingospot uses linguistic analysis to identify and create dynamic links on publishers' or bloggers' pages. When readers hover over a Lingospot link a Discovery Bubble appears showing related content from popular websites. Yedda joins several existing Lingospot services, including YouTube videos, Wikipedia definitions, Flickr photos, Amazon books, Breitbart news, ClipSyndicate news videos, and others.
"We are excited to launch the Yedda Questions and Answers service," said Nikos Iatropoulos, Lingospot's CEO. "Yedda allows our publishers' readers to ask or answer questions relating to particular keywords -- tapping the collective curiosity and knowledge of online readers."
Yedda's partner platform enables people-powered knowledge searches across their sites. "Lingospot has created a great way of enriching their contextual content with our service," said Roy Oron, VP Business Development with AOL-Yedda. "We're looking forwarded to weaving our unique value into Lingospot's network to increase engagement and create incremental revenues for publishers."
