Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba.com and chip giant Intel have announced a strategic alliance to develop an e-business PC targeted at SMBs.
The PC will combine Alibaba's e-commerce platform with internet security and services based on Intel's chip platform. It is expected to be launched later this year.
Alibaba last month partnered with Infomedia India to launch an online sourcing community, while earlier this month, Intel launched Business Exchange, an online storefront for SMBs.
