NAFCU Services Selects Code Green Networks As Exclusive Partner for Data Loss Prevention Solutions
Posted on: Monday, 19 May 2008, 09:00 CDT
The NAFCU (National Association of Federal Credit Unions) Services Corporation announced today the selection of Code Green Networks as its Preferred Partner for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions. After an extensive review process, Code Green Networks was selected to help NAFCU member credit unions easily deploy, manage, and enforce data protection policies across their organizations in order to meet regulatory requirements for protecting customer data and confidential company information.
Code Green's Data Loss Prevention solutions address the need for enterprise-class protection of confidential data in transit, in use, and at rest in a package that makes the offering accessible to organizations large and small. These solutions prevent data loss over popular Internet applications such as email, WebMail, Instant Messenger, FTP, Blogs, and Wikis, and can optionally encrypt outgoing email messages in a simple and cost-effective manner.
"Electronic data breaches, either accidental or malicious, have unfortunately become the norm. The substantial growth of corporate and personal online communications tools available to employees have only created more challenges for credit unions and we must employ new and innovative solutions to protect ourselves against these threats," said David Frankil, president of NAFCU Services. "Code Green Networks offers an affordable, effective, and scalable solution for protecting against data breaches across all channels of communication on the Internet -- ideal for this industry."
NAFCU is a respected trade association that exclusively represents the interests of federal credit unions before the federal government and the public. The NAFCU Services Corporation's Preferred Partner Program was formed in 1996 to provide a special designation to suppliers committed to credit unions. Only after a comprehensive qualification assessment are vendors selected to represent technologies that will successfully serve the needs of federal credit unions.
"After a rigorous evaluation process of multiple DLP products, NAFCU Services selected the Code Green solution as their exclusive DLP offering for their member credit unions," said Sreekanth Ravi, founder, chairman and CEO at Code Green Networks. "Data loss prevention is by far the most important and highly publicized area of security among financial services companies, especially credit unions who face the challenge to deploy the best solutions possible while meeting tight budget and resource constraints. With that in mind, our Content Inspection appliances rise to the challenge, delivering the best price/performance and unmatched ease of use."
