Rohati Names Seasoned Global Executive Shane Buckley As CEO to Lead Company Into Network-Based Entitlement Control Market

SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- In conjunction with Rohati Systems' unveiling of the industry's first high-performance network-based entitlement control (NBEC) solution today, the Board of Directors has named seasoned network industry executive Shane Buckley as president and chief executive officer of the company, and a member of the board. Buckley was previously chief operating officer at Nevis Networks and vice president of worldwide enterprise operations for Juniper Networks.

Before taking the helm at Rohati, Buckley served as chief operating officer at Nevis Networks, a leader in network access control and was vice president of worldwide enterprise operations for Juniper Networks. Prior to that, he served as the international president of Peribit Networks, the leader in WAN optimization, which Juniper Networks purchased in June 2005 for $385 million. Before Peribit, Buckley served as chief executive officer of Conduit Software, a provider of directory assistance and wireless applications solutions. Earlier in his career, he was vice president, EMEA at 3Com, where he managed a $2.2 billion business unit and was responsible for 3Com's distribution strategy, OEM partnerships, and reseller channels. Buckley also chaired 3Com's Global Distribution Council, was a member of the company's worldwide OEM steering team, and served as 3Com's head of operations for the Asia-Pacific Region while based in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
