Vusion Selects Shenick Technology to Ensure Massive Scalability and Optimize Quality of Service for HD Video Delivery

Shenick Network Systems, provider of per-flow IP communication test and monitoring systems, announced that Vusion, providers of instant-on, full-screen, HD quality streaming video, will use the award-winning diversifEye(TM) technology to test and measure their end-to-end solution for high definition (HD) video delivery on a per user, per flow basis over low bandwidth networks. With Shenick's diversifEye, Vusion will be able to ensure end user quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) for customers streaming HD video from any location.

To ensure high QoS for end users receiving video content from its servers, Vusion is using Shenick's diversifEye technology to carry out real world testing to determine how CDNs and video delivery networks (VDNs) perform under high load conditions with a range of video files. Shenick's diversifEye tests the video quality received by thousands of individual users from 10Gig based Vusion servers, in addition to testing video files selected by unique users.
