Mozes, Inc. (www.mozes.com), the service that connects people to what they love on their mobile phones, is enabling GoDigital Media Group rap artist Romeo to reach, interact with and grow his mobile fan base.
By incorporating Mozes' interactive voice, text, live event and online features, Romeo has connected with over 70,000 mobile fans and has built his Mob (mobile fan club) to an enormous 20,000 (and counting) members. Fans can text ROMEO to 66937 to join the Romeo Mob in order to receive exclusive content and updates from Romeo, including free ringtones, custom mobile wallpaper and alerts about upcoming music releases. Romeo fans also can call the rap star's Mozes line at 323-545-3111 to listen to a message from Romeo, share the message with a friend, leave a message in return, and join the Mob if they wish.
All text and voice messages are captured for online display on Romeo's official web site and MySpace page via his Mozes widget. This enables fans to hear and see what other fans are saying and exchange messages with the artist on the phone or online.
"Romeo has embraced mobile, realizing how critical it is to stay connected and engaged with his supporters wherever he is and wherever they are," said Dave Lindsay, Marketing Director, GoDigital Media Group. "Romeo fans want a closer connection with him and Mozes enables him to have fun with his fans in memorable, powerful ways."
Romeo's Mob has grown used to being the first to know about Romeo news and offers, often receiving custom voicetones, being asked to answer a trivia question, or getting the inside scoop on a contest. In an effort to promote his new track "Get Low Wit It (feat. Akon)," Romeo recently offered his mobile fans on Mozes the chance to appear in his new music video by driving them to his official site through a text campaign.
"Romeo can quickly and easily engage his fans by texting them about his upcoming appearances, asking them to leave text and voice messages, or giving them exclusive mobile content," said Patricia Dao, Director, Business Development, Mozes. "GoDigital is using Mozes to create an innovative mobile program for Romeo, which has helped him build an enormous and loyal mobile fan club."
