Leading financial media company, Minyanville Publishing and Multimedia (www.minyanville.com), today announced a partnership between the AOL kids site, KOL (http://kol.com) and MinyanLand (www.minyanland.com) – Minyanville’s free, financial virtual community that teaches kids the fundamentals of finance.

MinyanLand, which has registered more than 100,000 kids since its February launch, will have content throughout KOL.com, including the “Games” and “Homework Help” sections.

In addition, MinyanLand’s “Main Street Theater” will run “KOL Super Gliders,” KOL.com’s original, full-length, cartoon videos starring Ariel and Kiki. Future original content sharing opportunities are also planned for the agreement.

“We expect our relationship with KOL to accelerate the growth of the MinyanLand audience,” said Laurie Petersen, general manager of Minyanville Family Media. “With this partnership, we will also continue to add content to keep kids entertained in MinyanLand’s virtual community.”

“We feel this relationship provides kids with necessary tools to help learn finance at an early age in a fun and engaging way,” said Stephanie Cohen, director of programming for KOL.com. “We are excited to introduce Hoofy and Boo and the rest of the MinyanLand Critters to our kids.”

Kids and parents can also access MinyanLand at www.minyanland.com and through AOL Money & Finance, http://money.aol.com.
