Posted on: Wednesday, 28 May 2008, 09:00 CDT

MINNEAPOLIS, May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Midwave today announced that it is the recipient of a Cisco Partner Summit Regional award for Regional Services Cisco Partner of the Year. Cisco unveiled the winners last month in Honolulu, Hawaii.

"I had the honor and privilege of recognizing Midwave as a Cisco partner of the year," said Wendy Bahr, vice president of U.S. and Canada channels at Cisco. "The Regional Services Partner award recognizes Midwave's performance and success as a Cisco channel partner."

"As a Cisco Gold partner, Midwave has made large investments in Cisco technology and competencies," said Jim Leslie, Midwave CEO. "And so have our clients, which is why we are so diligent in ensuring they have well designed, highly effective support mechanisms in place for their IT infrastructure."

Cisco Partner Summit awards are presented on three levels -- regional, theater and global. Cisco Partner Summit U.S. and Canada regional awards reflect partner's performance in a given geographic region of the U.S. and Canada.
