Glam Media Launches New Video Distribution and Advertising Platform

Glam Media, a provider of vertical content networks, has launched its GlamTV Platform, a video distribution and advertising platform for Glam's network of 500+ premium web sites and blogs.
The GlamTV Platform is a flagship service that allows Glam to package its content with ads for hyper-targeted audiences using Glam Media's Digital-Primetime technology.
According to the company, its GlamTV platform solves challenges for its publishers seeking high-quality and rights-managed content tightly coupled with brand advertising from top tier media companies. This enables Glam Media network publishers to access content that is costly to produce and offers them a new source of revenue through high-CPM sponsorships, display, video ads and advertorials.
For media companies, GlamTV increases their reach into highly coveted audiences through Glam Media's vertical network of trusted and influential publishers, while controlling distribution and reach based on their needs or distribution rights.
Through Glam Video's partnership with Ooyala, a video platform company, publishers will be able to leverage curated videos from Ooyala. In addition, Glam Media has partnered with Brightcove to enable customers of the Brightcove Internet TV platform to distribute video content through Glam's network of 500+ publishers and highly targeted audience. Glam Media's Digital-Primetime technology will support the serving of highly targeted ads either from Glam's advertising partners or the publisher's advertising partners.
