Comtech Mobile Gets $2.6 Million Contract for Network Services

Comtech Telecommunications subsidiary Comtech Mobile Datacom has received a $2.6 million follow-on contract from the Joint Contracting Command, Iraq, to supply commercial transceivers, satellite capacity, program management, and related technical support services for its Quick Deploy Satellite System.

The Quick Deploy Satellite System is utilized by The Logistics Directorate of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Gulf Region Division, as part of a comprehensive plan to ensure the safe and efficient movement of supplies and equipment dedicated to Iraqi reconstruction efforts.

Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: "We are very pleased to receive this most recent contract from the Corps of Engineers. Their action clearly demonstrates the positive contribution provided by our products and technical support services supporting the ongoing Iraqi reconstruction efforts."
