Linthicum-Based Ciena and Columbia-Based Broadwing Settle Their Patent Infringement Suit

Ciena Corp., of Linthicum, a manufacturer of fiber optic telecommunications equipment, and Broadwing Corp., of Columbia, a provider of voice, data and media technology and products, announced they have amicably settled their patent infringement litigation, and that Broadwing agreed to pay $35 million to Ciena over three years
