McGraw-Hill Construction Names Brian Tonry Vice President, Product Marketing for the McGraw-Hill Construction Network(R)

NEW YORK, April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw-Hill Construction has named Brian Tonry to the new position of vice president, product marketing for the McGraw- Hill Construction Network(R). Mr. Tonry will have P&L responsibility in managing the sustained growth of the MHC Network(R) product family, leading the development of new MHC Network(R) modules that leverage all core content assets including the Project, Product, Players, and Publications databases, as well as identifying new applications and services that can provide an end-to- end solution for both existing and new customer segments. MHC Network(R) provides online, integrated information solutions to find work, do work and manage business opportunities.
Mr. Tonry brings a unique set of experiences and talent to this new role. He joined The McGraw-Hill Companies in 1997 from Dow Jones, where he was responsible for technology and facilities procurement. Before joining McGraw- Hill Construction, he worked in The McGraw-Hill Companies' Shared Services organization where he led the team responsible for implementing the Lawson Financials Accounts Payable and Purchase Order ERP solution. Mr. Tonry joined McGraw-Hill Construction as director of Business Development in 2000, overseeing numerous partnerships.
In addition, he has played a number of key roles in shaping strategy and marketing at the group level, including the management of construction.com and being the project leader behind the McGraw-Hill Construction re-branding launch. In his most recent role, he played a critical role in the creation of the new customer channel for Building Product Manufacturers, overseeing both BPM Marketing and Network Product Marketing.
Mr. Tonry has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary's University, and an M.B.A. from Villanova University. He resides in Robbinsville, NJ with his wife and three children.
