Message Systems Adds New Leadership in Product Marketing

Email solutions provider Message Systems announced today at the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group's (MAAWG) general meeting in Heidelberg, Germany that Catherine Foster has joined its marketing team as Director of Product Marketing. A twenty-year technology industry veteran, Foster will put her communications, product development and anti-abuse (anti-spam, anti-virus) experience to work at Message Systems where she will oversee all product-marketing activities, including product marketing strategy and plans, branding, product launch campaigns and lead generation.

"Her vast experience in technology, internal and external communications and product development give her the perfect blend of strategic thinking, creativity and product knowledge to help Message Systems brand and launch new solutions tailored to our customer's needs."
Foster's two decades of technology experience include developing major products for some of the world's largest communications companies, including Cox Communications and BellSouth (now AT&T South). Her product experience ranges from Voice over IP, television, video and wireless to messaging anti-abuse products. She has designed and developed initiatives that reduced the amount of spam delivered to message customers by as much as 30 percent and is an active member of the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group and Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT). Prior to joining Message Systems, Foster served as director of Customer IT Services for Bizanga, senior manager for Messaging Data Products at Cox Communications and director of Consumer and Business IT Services at BellSouth Telecommunications. She holds a B.S. degree in Technology Management -- Cum Laude from Southern Polytechnic State University.
