Bizanga Launches New Version of IMP Platform
Bizanga, a provider of email and message processing platform, has announced the release of the Intelligent Message Processor 3.5, a multi-stage spam filtering platform for large networks.
With version 3.5 of the Intelligent Message Processor (IMP), filtering rules at the network, protocol and application layers can be fully integrated and managed in a single, high performance platform.
By melding the layers together, the data that’s derived at one layer can be applied real-time to others for more comprehensive and responsive spam protection, simplified administration and improved user experience. Multi-stage filtering has fully been integrated into Bizanga’s IMP platform.
David Ferris, president of Ferris Research, an analyst firm specializing in messaging technologies, said: “Bizanga’s IMP represents the next generation in platforms for managing digital messages. Two things stand out for me: the very high level of scalability and the great flexibility that clients have in incorporating third party messaging technology, such as anti-spam and anti-virus.”
