T-Mobile, AT&T and Starbucks Reach Deal to Resolve Disputes

T-Mobile, AT&T and Starbucks have signed a memorandum of understanding to resolve an allegation made by T-Mobile.
According to a lawsuit filed by T-Mobile in the New York state court, Starbucks and AT&T have acted against the terms of an agreement signed by the three companies. The agreement dealt with how Starbucks should transfer from its T-Mobile partnership to a new partnership with AT&T.
T-Mobile alleged that by allowing AT&T supply customers with free wireless internet service, Starbucks deprived T-Mobile of revenue. If the terms of the original agreement were followed, T-Mobile customers could freely roam on the new AT&T service.
Seattlepi.nwsource.com cited Stacey Krum, a Starbucks's spokesperson, as saying that terms of the memorandum of understanding will not be disclosed and that the companies are working towards a final settlement.
