MELVILLE, N.Y., June 12, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received $1.4 million in orders for satellite communications equipment from a major system integrator. The equipment will be utilized by a multi-national government organization to expand its existing satellite communications-based network worldwide.
The orders include Comtech EF Data's CDM-600 Satellite Modems and CSAT-5060 C-Band Transceivers. These satellite communications infrastructure products feature technologies that are scalable, reliable and bandwidth-efficient, supporting users globally in a variety of applications.
