Infoblox Earns Microsoft Certified Partner Status
Posted on: Tuesday, 12 April 2005, 12:00 CDT
Infoblox Inc., developer of network identity infrastructure (NII) systems, today announced that it has earned certified status in Microsoft's Partner Program, which recognizes Infoblox's expertise and impact in the technology marketplace. As a Certified Partner, Infoblox has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to meet customer needs. Microsoft Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training and support that give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Infoblox develops and markets NII appliances, the Infoblox DNSone and RADIUSone, that respectively provide critical domain name system (DNS) and dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) as well as authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) network services in reliable, easy-to-manage, security-hardened devices.
Infoblox DNSone appliances are fully compatible with Microsoft DNS and DHCP services and integrate seamlessly into a Microsoft environment. Similarly, the Infoblox RADIUSone appliance offers "point-and-click" integration with Microsoft Active Directory(R) (AD) as a user repository. This enables a reliable, secure solution for supporting wireless deployments, perimeter security, and other applications.
"Only companies that have demonstrated high levels of customer service, proved their experience and attained advanced certification receive the designation of Microsoft Certified Partner," said Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft Corp. "Today, Microsoft recognizes Infoblox for its skills and expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology."
"We are extremely pleased to have earned certified status in the Microsoft Partner Program," said Richard Kagan, vice president of marketing at Infoblox. "Infoblox has a proven track record of complementing and extending Microsoft deployments. This certification helps demonstrate to our customers the extent of our Microsoft expertise and relationship as well as the compatibility of the Infoblox DNSone and RADIUSone products with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP offerings."
In addition to earning certified status, Infoblox has declared a Microsoft Competency in Microsoft Advanced Infrastructure Solutions. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
The Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency is designed for partners with proven expertise in designing and/or implementing complex infrastructure solutions such as Active Directory-based and Microsoft Identity Integration Server design and deployment solutions, or Microsoft Exchange Server migration or deployment solutions. Because customers are increasingly asking to do more with less, partners with the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency can identify their unique skill in helping customers access management solutions, improving operational efficiency and reducing security risks.
The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in December 2003 and represents Microsoft's ongoing commitment to the success of partners worldwide. The Microsoft Partner Program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognizes partner expertise, rewards the total impact partners have in the technology marketplace, and delivers more value to help partners' businesses be successful.
