NGS Unveils Financial Analytics Solution for IBM System I

New Generation Software, a developer of IBM midrange software, has launched its Decision Assist - Financial Performance, a financial analytics solution for IBM System i customers and independent software vendors who want to modernize and streamline their financial reporting and analysis without moving their general ledger data off the System i.
The solution enhances DB2 data presentation via Adobe Flash and Microsoft Office. It includes an IBM System i data mart, Web portal, financial performance dashboards, multidimensional models, Excel spreadsheets and reports, supporting i5/OS V5R1 and above.
Bernard Gough, CEO and president of NGS, said: "We know many companies want to reduce the time spent assembling financial reports each period and improve the quality and reliability of their presentations to their board, investors, employees, and auditors. Decision Assist - Financial Performance helps them to achieve those goals."
