VLSystems Adds Technology and Distribution Partners to Its Secure Data Practice

IRVINE, Calif., April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- VLSystems, a leading integrator of systems and solutions to small and mid-market companies, today announced the expansion of its Secure Data practice with the addition of four new partners. Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. , StorageTek(R) , and Intransa will provide leading storage technologies and Bell Microproducts has been tapped as VLSystems' new distribution partner.

Each technology provider was selected for their unique product lineup and the specific solutions they can provide customers. For a highly scalable Fibre-Channel SAN solution, VLSystems looked to Hitachi Data Systems. Intransa was selected to address clients' IP-SAN requirements, and StorageTek was chosen for disk staging and tape library back-up technology through Bell Microproducts.
