NVIDIA Adopts Teseda's V550(TM) Debug and Diagnostic Platform
Posted on: Tuesday, 24 June 2008, 06:01 CDT
Teseda Corporation, a leading provider of comprehensive scan-based diagnostic and debug solutions for semiconductor yield improvement, announced today that NVIDIA has taken delivery of their first V550(TM) system, and will be acquiring multiple systems. The V550(TM) is part of a unified system that integrates design, test, and diagnostic environments, leading to the rapid detection and repair of failures. The V550(TM) is the most powerful desktop validation platform in the industry, able to handle devices with up to 512 channels and providing more memory per channel than any other desktop system. When driven with Teseda's powerful TWB(TM) software, it allows design teams to cut validation and diagnostic time, and FA teams to quickly pinpoint failure candidates.
"NVIDIA views the Teseda platform to be of key value primarily for failure analysis," said Charlie McDonald, Senior Test Manager at NVIDIA. "Having a low-cost solution will allow NVIDIA to reduce test costs (through cheaper test time) as well as expedite the FA processes by having multiple systems working in parallel with our existing ATE."
"We are proud to have an industry leader like NVIDIA validate the Teseda solution," stated Armagan Akar, President and CEO of Teseda Corporation. "We have worked with both the validation and FA groups at NVIDIA to demonstrate the real value of the V550 system. We look forward to continuing to produce products to meet their evolving needs."
The V550(TM) was announced in Q4 2007 and has been shipping to leading semiconductor companies worldwide. It joins the V520 to form the leading family of portable, low-cost validation and FA analysis systems.
