CrowdGather, Inc. Announces Heather Schlegel As Director of Community Evangelism

June 24, 2008

CrowdGather, Inc. (OTCBB: CRWG) today announced that Heather Schlegel has joined the company as Director of Community Evangelism. Schlegel will assume responsibility for the CrowdGather user experience, as well as the coordination of member and moderation services across the entire network.

Heather Schlegel is an innovative Internet start-up veteran with more than 12 years of experience, contributing to more than 50 successful technology product launches. Schlegel worked for AOL as the first DHTML (AJAX) technology evangelist in 2000, and later as a product manager for AOL’s AIM division. She joins CrowdGather from her technology marketing consultancy, The Purple Tornado.

Schlegel is active in many areas of society and naturally creates communities, most recently she led the revitalization of the LA technology networking community by creating Geek Dinner events, which in turn helped to incubate StartupLA, Twiistup, BarcampLA and other Southern California technology events. Heather Schlegel has been featured in the LA Times for her efforts in the LA Tech Community and has spoken at various industry conferences.

“Forums need to be recognized for their tremendous value as strong social networks and repositories of user generated, relevant content,” said Sanjay Sabnani, CrowdGather’s Chairman and CEO. “We are confident that Heather will help us revitalize message board communities and unlock their tremendous inherent value as we seek to create the leading network for forum owners and forum-goers.”

Through a growing portfolio of forum and message board communities, CrowdGather is building a leading informational community and advertising matrix around a vastly underestimated social networking tool. When launched, CrowdGather will connect properties with innovations such as a cross-forum search engine and a centralized ID management tool that allows members to participate in any network discussion with a single login. CrowdGather will initially focus on its Company owned properties, but will ultimately open up its network to third-party forum owners who wish to benefit from joining this powerful network.
