VOIP: B3G Telecom Chooses Highdeal Transactive for Rating and Billing Services
Posted on: Tuesday, 19 April 2005, 09:00 CDT
Highdeal, the leader in rating for mobile, multimedia and IP services announced today its latest Highdeal Transactive rollout with leading European Broadband Telephony operator, B3G Telecom. The IP Telephony specialist serves Tier One operators with its wholesale offering as well as enterprises through a one tier distribution model.
In response to the market's demand for robust enterprise services, B3G Telecom is rolling out a turnkey IP telephony solution, which comes complete with an IP Centrex solution integrating all the functionality of the traditional PABX with convergent IT and telephony functionality. It is also introducing a made-to-measure convergent voice and data service for multi-site enterprises (e.g. high speed Internet, IP-VPN, remote workers and mobile).
B3G Telecom required a flexible pricing, rating and billing solution capable of converging both voice and data services for fixed and mobile services. Highdeal was selected due to its unique patented rating engine, which enables customers to price and bill for customized service offerings from a single platform; allowing them to easily automate pricing policies and calculate usage and billing. Highdeal's low total cost of ownership, ease of management launching new and varied offers to targeted customer segments was a key selling point.
Patrice Giami, President and General Manager for B3G Telecom explained: "Highdeal Transactive was a natural choice. Highdeal's technology is designed to handle the complexities often associated with new services, in particular the convergence of fixed to mobile, voice and data services. Thanks to Highdeal Transactive we can now offer a comprehensive solution adapted to our customers' needs, providing them with billing capabilities for third parties."
Highdeal Transactive's easy to use, intuitive graphical interface for price plan creation enables new offers to be rapidly introduced on average in less than one week, thereby optimising return on investment and ultimately increasing operator ARPU. Highdeal's flexible, modular architecture and key functionality significantly decreases deployment times, whether integrating to existing legacy systems or delivering an end-to-end solution.
"We are delighted to work with B3G Telecom. The market is fast evolving its fixed and mobile services to an all IP environment and Highdeal is playing a key role in enabling operators to migrate their systems effectively and efficiently," said Eric Lavenir, Vice President Sales EMEA of Highdeal.''
