Datawatch Continues to Cement Partnership With Microsoft
Datawatch Corporation (NASDAQ-CM: DWCH), a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and leading provider of solutions to the Enterprise Information Management market, announces several significant achievements and activities regarding its partnership with Microsoft.
Datawatch recently achieved Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status and two additional Microsoft Partner competencies. One of its newest products, Monarch Data Pump 9.0, passed the Microsoft Platform Test for Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solutions. These milestones underscore Datawatch's commitment to helping companies make better decisions and solve business problems by satisfying their need for simpler access to all company information and easy-to-use analytic tools. Datawatch solutions transform information residing in virtually any existing system into familiar Microsoft formats and processes without programming, allowing companies to fully utilize and leverage the investments they've already made.
In addition, Datawatch has been invited to present at the 2008 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston on July 7-10. Datawatch is one of 22 Office system partners that have been chosen to participate in the Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics Theater.
Gareth Horton, a senior product manager from Datawatch, will present on the topic of "Delivering Open XML to Excel Using Monarch Report Mining" on Tuesday, July 8 at 1:20 p.m. CDT in the Partner Solutions Theater. Horton will demonstrate how Monarch, Datawatch's flagship Report Mining solution, allows enterprises to acquire, prepare and export data to Microsoft Excel from any system using unique Report Mining technology developed by Datawatch over the past 17 years.

-- Business Intelligence Solutions Competency: Proven competency in Business Intelligence platform specialization.
-- Information Worker Solutions Competency: Proven competency in developing solutions using XML and Web services that integrate data from many sources into familiar Microsoft Office System user interfaces, using one or more Microsoft technologies.
Aside from these achievements, Monarch Data Pump 9.0, Datawatch's Windows server-based enterprise reporting and data ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) solution, passed the Microsoft Platform Test for ISV Solutions for Windows 2003 Server, SQL Server 2005 and Web Services plus .NET Framework. Testing was conducted independently by VeriTest, a testing service of Lionbridge Technologies.
Datawatch is also a member of the Microsoft Interop Vendor Alliance, a community of software and hardware vendors working together to enhance interoperability with Microsoft systems.
