Comtech Mobile Datacom Receives $5.6 Million US Army Contract

Comtech Telecommunications has announced that its subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom has received orders totaling $5.6 million under its Movement Tracking System, or MTS contract, with the US Army.

Total orders received to date against the $605.1 million MTS contract increased to $126 million. The orders are for the supply of satellite network bandwidth, satellite network operations management, program management, and technical support services in support of ongoing MTS program activities in the US and abroad.

Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: “These orders illustrate the importance of Comtech’s satellite network, satellite network operations management, program management, and technical support services in providing turn-key satellite tracking and communication systems for the US Army’s MTS program.”
