Web Site Offers Guide to Area Faith Communities

July 5, 2008

There’s no need for visitors or locals to get lost on the way to church — or temple, center or mosque.

Readers can explore the range and depth of the Santa Fe’s faith communities with a new full-color locator map on The Santa Fe New Mexican’s Web site. Visit the Web site at www. santafenewmexican.com. On the far right side of the home page, Web users will see a calendar logo and a “Select directory” box.

Scroll to faith communities in the directory box.

The map offers a color-coded key to faith communities, by denomination, and offers an

infobox on the particular faith community.

Web users can click on a particular denomination — as seen in black and white to the right — and view the exact location of each faith community, get details — including service times, Web sites, addresses and special services — and directions on how to get to the church on time.

If your faith community would like to be included on this map — or if you have changes or additions to the present listing, send an e-mail to service@sfnewmexican.com. Be sure you indicate “Web map” with your information.

Please note: Your faith community can’t be included on the map if it meets in different locations on a weekly basis or in private homes or businesses.

The map also is posted on the Web site, along with current events, recent articles and

photographs. Go to www.
