HOUSTON, TX, July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- MICROSOFT WPC, Booth #344 - N-able Technologies(R), the preferred supplier of remote monitoring and management software and specialized business support services for managed service providers (MSPs), today announced its N-central(R) technology will be able to be used by Microsoft partners using System Center Operations Manager to gain remote console access over the Internet from a single web-based N-central console. N-able is also pleased to report it has joined the Microsoft System Center Alliance, an elite ecosystem of partners whose technologies are proven to integrate with Microsoft's Windows platform, as well as System Center Essential products and technologies.
"With this new capability, Microsoft MSPs can gather remote status from existing Operations Manager installations on computers and distributed applications and then with a single click, launch a remote Operations Manager session to drill into the details and take corrective action," says August Wehrmann, vice president of research & development, N-able Technologies. "Further, Microsoft MSPs will also be able to launch multiple Operations Manager sessions simultaneously from the N-central user interface, complementing N-central's existing ability to manage multiple customer networks from a single web-based console."
A live demonstration of the increased efficiencies and IT service automation gained by using N-able's N-central software in conjunction with Microsoft's System Center Operations Manager 2007 is being showcased this week at Microsoft's Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), booth #344. In addition, N-able is extending its no-cost, one-year subscription of its new hosted N-central Express(TM) software to all Microsoft partners in attendance.
"The technology and business advantages Microsoft partners gain by using N-central and System Center Operations Manager notably enhance their remote management capabilities and help build stronger business efficiencies throughout their organizations," says Gavin Garbutt, president & CEO, N-able Technologies. "We are very pleased to join Microsoft's System Center Alliance and demonstrate first-hand this new level of IT service automation and remote manageability available to N-able and Microsoft partners around the globe. In addition, our no-hassle, no-cost N-central Express is being well received by Microsoft partners who are eager to get their feet wet using remote monitoring and management technology to deliver managed services."
