Comtech PST Receives $2.5 Million Orders for High Power Amplifiers
Comtech Telecommunications said that its subsidiary Comtech PST has received $2.5 million worth orders for high power amplifiers from a provider of aviation electronics and communication systems.
According to the company, these amplifiers are utilized as part of satellite communications systems which provide commercial mobile airborne-to-satellite-to-ground communications service. The systems provide operators with the ability to access Inmarsat's Aero-H, Aero-I and SwiftBroadband service for aeronautical satellite communications with multi-channel voice, fax and data capabilities.Fred Kornberg, president and CEO of Comtech Telecommunications, said: "These orders are ongoing evidence of the strong demand for our commercial aircraft amplifier products.
