New Mexico Software Appoints Troy Lapsys As President of Consumer Electronics Division

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- New Mexico Software Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: NMXS) , a leading provider of next-generation digital lifecycle management solutions, announced today that the company has appointed Troy Lapsys as president of the Consumer Electronics Division.
Lapsys comes to New Mexico Software from NextDay Networks, Inc., a virtual distributor of computer and electronics products, where he served as VP of business development. He has more than 10 years of high-tech software development and management experience in diverse markets ranging from wireless technology, enterprise demand chain management and VoIP telecommunications.
Prior to NextDay Networks, Lapsys founded and served as CEO for Danu Technology, Inc., a company offering VoIP and ISP services in the Philippines. He also has held the position of CIO for Device Dynamics, Inc., a global semiconductor manufacturing outsource company. While serving as CEO of Symeo, Inc., he developed client-side-only software to integrate enterprise applications to mobile PDAs and cellular phones. As chief technology officer with eMedius, Inc., he led an international development team of more than 100 engineers to design the first demand chain management platform for OEM sourcing of semiconductor products. Lapsys holds a B.A. from Stanford University.
