Iowa Telecom to Present at the Morgan Stanley 10th Annual Media & Communications Conference

Iowa Telecommunications Services, Inc. (NYSE: IWA) today announced it will participate in the Morgan Stanley 10th Annual Media & Communications Conference in Washington, D.C., May 5-6, 2005. Alan L. Wells, Iowa Telecom president and chief executive officer, and Craig A. Knock, Iowa Telecom vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, will be speaking at the conference.

An online simulcast and replay of the Company's presentation will be available at 2:45 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, May 6, 2005 on the Company's website at www.IowaTelecom.com under "Investor Relations".
