A recent graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology took home second place in a national technical competition. Adam Schaeffer, of Lancaster, won the silver award in Internet Working in the SkillsUSA National Competitions, held June 25-26 in Kansas City, Mo. The contest, in its 42nd year, is for public high school, college and post-secondary technical students.

Schaeffer was one of three Thaddeus Stevens students competing. He recently graduated from the college’s computer and network systems administration program. Schaeffer reached the national stage after winning the gold medal in the state competition earlier last month. (Copyright 2008 Lancaster Newspapers. All rights reserved.)
