ShadowStor ShadowProtect IT Edition to Provide System and Data Protection for Enterprise Servers and Workstations

ShadowStor(TM), a provider of innovative security, disaster recovery and data protection solutions for servers and PCs, today announced ShadowProtect IT Edition, which allows IT administrators to create, edit or restore backup images of Windows servers, PCs and laptops.
ShadowProtect IT Edition provides administrators with a bootable Windows environment so they can create and restore ExactState(TM) backup images. This means it isn't necessary to install software on servers and PCs to create, edit or restore backup images.
With ExactState backup, IT administrators can generate an image of their server environment or a specific PC using the ShadowStor Recovery Environment CD. This provides the most reliable backup and ensures the operating system, programs and data are in the best state for backup.
ShadowProtect IT Edition includes an easy-to-use interface for network configuration as well as the ability to restore individual files or folders. Administrators can also update backup images, if desired. Images can then be saved to network drives or a FireWire- or USB-supported drive.
ShadowProtect IT Edition gives administrators the following advantages:
