Sogeti Announces the Opening of Its Global Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server Center of Excellence
Sogeti, a premier provider of information technology services to businesses and public-sector organizations worldwide and member of Capgemini Group, today announced the opening of its global Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Center of Excellence in Mumbai, India.
The Center of Excellence will offer Sogeti customers a dedicated network of expert Microsoft Office SharePoint Server engineers who will supplement Sogeti's existing global team of 6,000 Microsoft practice engineers currently delivering Sogeti's proven business methodologies worldwide.The Center of Excellence is located in Mumbai, India and will include a team of over 200 elite Microsoft Office SharePoint Server specialists by the end of 2008 and 1,000 by the end of 2009. These specialists will be available to meet a multitude of global customer needs involving Microsoft Office SharePoint Server solutions. In addition, the team in India will work directly with each Sogeti subsidiary worldwide to provide services and solutions to customers by ensuring seamless integration between onshore and offshore resources.
In order to maximize the effectiveness of the Center of Excellence engineers, Sogeti USA LLC has worked with Microsoft to develop intensive training series, focusing specifically on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server applications with a special emphasis on Enterprise Search, Portals, Enterprise Content Management, and interfacing with line of business applications.
