Sun Microsystems and SeeBeyond Launch Global Seminar Series Addressing Pragmatic Approach to SOA

SeeBeyond (Nasdaq: SBYN) and Sun Microsystems, Inc., today kicked off a global seminar series addressing a pragmatic approach to implementing a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Entitled "Beyond the Buzz: A Pragmatic Approach to SOA & Web Services", the series will consist of several half-day seminars across North America and Europe that will bringing together industry experts to discuss best practices and emerging standards that can be applied today to increase agility through SOA-based solutions.

As a part of the West Coast installment of the seminar series, Forrester Research Vice Presidents Randy Heffner and John Rymer, both of the Application Development & Infrastructure Group, will join Sun and SeeBeyond executives to present "Crafting an Architectural Evolution to SOAs", sharing with attendees an evolutional approach to deploying an enterprise SOA vision incorporating existing infrastructures. Sun and SeeBeyond executives will then present, "Enabling the Pragmatic Service-Oriented Architecture", outlining a set of architectural principles to guide the adoption of an SOA deployment.
