ZTE Formalizes Collaboration With Japanese Mobile Virtual Network Operator

ZTE Corporation, a provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, has formalized an agreement signed with a Japanese mobile virtual network operator in mid-June of 2008, to penetrate local WCDMA market. ZTE has also entered into an alliance with Japan Communications to supply WCDMA data cards.
As part of its multinational telecom operator strategy, the company has been establishing close partnership with various telecom carriers in Western Europe and North America
Qian Qiang, president of East/Southeast Asia region at ZTE Corporation, said: "In collaboration with our local partner, Japan Communications, we are laying down a solid foundation to provide local telecom customers with comprehensive range of advanced 3G network services."
