Communications Test Design, a telecommunications repair and logistics provider, has acquired the assets and products of Verso Technologies's family of access products, including integrated access devices, access routers, optical access devices and bandwidth aggregators.
This acquisition includes the Verilink 8000/6000, iMarc, WANSuite, XEL-CORE, ArcaDACS, Shark, Prism, Orion, Terra, AS2000, and NetEngine product lines collectively, the Verilink products.
According to Communications Test Design (CTDI), the Verilink products complement its existing portfolio of access products which includes the AccessNode/UE9000, eLuminant, XCel, and fiber optic product families.
Brian Parsons, director of CTDI's products division, said: "This latest product acquisition strengthens CTDI's current access product and service portfolio. This should be encouraging to Verilink customers based on CTDI's track record for excellent support of acquired product lines. CTDI will immediately begin managing all sales, service and support needs related to the Verilink products."
