The Concord police have arrested two suspects who they say stole a Dell computer from Wal-Mart while surveillance cameras were rolling.

Michael Firman, 23, and Melissa Sweatt, 20, both of Manchester, were arrested July 29. Firman was charged with shoplifting; Sweatt was charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another. The police said they recovered the computer and will use it as evidence.

According to the police, video from the store shows a man and woman load the computer into a shopping cart, wheel it into the lawn and garden department and exit through an alarmed emergency exit door. Cameras in the parking lot show them loading the computer into a car and speeding away, the police said. The computer was valued just under $1,000.

Firman was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. Sweatt was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. They are both scheduled for arraignment in Concord District Court on Aug. 26.
