Nirvanix Builds on Digital Media Success With Appointment of Ezra Davidson
Nirvanix, the premier "Cloud Storage" platform provider optimized for media and large files, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Ezra Davidson to the newly-created position of Managing Director, Media Entertainment Services in which he will work closely with the entertainment industry helping them leverage the Nirvanix Storage Delivery Network optimized for digital media. He reports to Daniel Havens, Vice President of Sales.
With more than 20 years experience with computer/Internet technologies focusing on the media and entertainment industries, Davidson has specialized in digital media since 1998 when he co-founded SyncCast, a provider and developer of secure digital media technology and delivery solutions, where he served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development until the company's sale to Technicolor in 2007. Davidson was responsible for developing SyncCast's relationships with leading media companies Billboard, Universal Studios, Microsoft, DirecTV, Comcast, Warner Music Group, Wal-Mart, Trans World Entertainment, Motorola, Warner Bros. Studios, EMI Music Group, Arbitron, MPAA, RIAA and others.

Prior to SyncCast, Davidson served as the Regional Director - Czech Operations/Director of Finance for Metromedia International Group, a global communications and media company; Accounting Director for The Brown Organization; and a Senior Consultant for Deloitte. He graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/English.
