Daydream and Wowza Partner to Deliver Digital Asset Management Services

Daydream, a provider of digital asset management solutions, has partnered with Wowza Media Systems, a provider of streaming media software, to provide digital asset management services through Daydream's FocusOpen Dam platform.
Under the partnership, Daydream will use Wowza media server pro to provide a streaming solution that will power the advanced logging and timeline metadata functionality that FocusOPEN provides.
Ralph Windsor, managing director of Daydream, said: "Wowza provides infrastructure-grade streaming server software that allows us to deliver superior enterprise media asset management solutions for our clients. Prior to Wowza, our options for offering streaming were severely constrained and the limitations or high costs posed problems for the ongoing development of FocusOPEN."
