Posted on: Wednesday, 18 May 2005, 12:00 CDT
Breault Research Organization (BRO) provides optical engineering solutions across many industries with a combination of software products, training courses and consulting services. Located in the heart of Optics Valley near the University of Arizona's Optical Sciences Center, BRO has been synonymous with optics since 1979.
BRO's Advanced Systems Analysis Program (ASAP) is the leading program uniting geometrical and physical optics with full 3D models of optical and mechanical systems. Over 20 years of continuous development allows ASAP to simulate the physics of more optical systems than any other program available.
Strong growth of ASAP and increasing sales in new and emerging applications has created demand for an additional customer service engineer at BRO. According to Wayne Hall, Director of Sales and Product Support Services, "We have experienced terrific growth in ASAP sales and we are committed to providing our customers with A+ support. By adding another support engineer, which will make 6 full-time engineers in our domestic software support group, we can continue to provide quick and accurate support which our customers have come to expect of us. We are looking for a seasoned optical engineer or physicist that will complement our already impressive group."
Competitive candidates will have a minimum of a Masters in Physics, Optical Engineering or similar discipline and 5+ years of experience and/or training. Knowledge of BRO's ASAP Optical Software is a plus.
BRO Customer Service Engineers:
-- Provide optical engineering technical support for BRO's software products
-- Develop technical documentation for BRO's software products
-- Develop tutorial materials and teach software tutorials at BRO headquarters and at customer sites
-- Occasionally travel out of the state and/or country
-- Represent BRO at technical tradeshows including the preparation and presentation of software information
-- Author and present articles and white papers in the optical engineering arena
-- Assist BRO Software Sales in creating and updating software demos and literature
-- Participate in the planning and developing BRO's software products
BRO offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits including a company-paid medical plan for employees and their dependents, employee incentive plans, 401(K) and a team environment led by experts in their respective fields.
BRO is the recipient of:
-- Copper Cactus Award (Best Place to Work)
