Frontier Communications Chooses Yahoo! for Co-Branded Home Page, Search and Toolbar

Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE: FTR), one of the nation's largest rural local exchange carriers, today announced the launch of a new co-branded personalized home page with useful online services, search capabilities and robust content selections. The Frontier/Yahoo! co-branded home page is available at www.Frontier.My.Yahoo.com.

Through the Yahoo!-powered home page, users will soon have access to Frontier Mail using the Zimbra Collaboration Suite, complete with email, calendar, voice, instant messaging, documents and Web 2.0 technologies including tagging, self-organizing mailboxes, and advanced search capabilities. Zimbra, a Yahoo! company, is the leader in open source, next-generation email messaging and collaboration software.

Beyond next-generation collaboration technologies, the co-branded home page will include Yahoo!'s renowned search engine as well as news, weather and stock updates. The co-branded home page also provides one-click access to Frontier customer service, tech support, directory advertiser selection, online bill payment and many other convenient service features.

Simply by going to www.Frontier.My.Yahoo.com, anyone can install the Frontier/Yahoo! toolbar, even if they live outside an area served by Frontier. The toolbar simplifies users' Web routines by providing quick access to Yahoo! Search as well as customizable buttons for a variety of online services, Frontier features, content and bookmarks.
