OPNET’s ACE Analyst Software Now Supports WAN Optimization; New Release Delivers Unique Capabilities for Deploying and Troubleshooting WAN Optimization

This release delivers new one-of-a kind analysis capabilities for organizations deploying wide area network (WAN) optimization devices from vendors including Riverbed Technology, Cisco Systems, and Juniper Networks.

WAN optimization devices accelerate the performance of applications that are accessed over a wide area network. They employ a variety of techniques to address common sources of slow network response, including latency, congestion, and inefficient application communications. These devices have become increasingly popular among IT organizations, as distributed use of business applications has increased, as has the richness and size of content transferred by applications.
