ColdWatt, Inc. Names Dan Artusi Chief Executive Officer; Industry Veteran From Silicon Laboratories to Lead Venture-Backed Power Supply Company

ColdWatt, Inc., a provider of high efficiency power supplies, today announced the appointment of Dan Artusi as chairman and chief executive officer. Mr. Artusi was most recently president and chief executive officer of Silicon Laboratories (NASDAQ: SLAB).

Prior to joining Silicon Laboratories, Mr. Artusi began his career with Motorola's Semiconductor Products Sector as an applications engineer. Over his 27-year career at Motorola, he served in a variety of marketing, applications, operations, and corporate management roles driving many of the key market initiatives that resulted in profitable businesses at Motorola. Prior to leaving Motorola, he served as the company's vice president and general manager of the Networking and Computing Systems Group, a successful business that he grew to more than $2.6 billion in revenues. Mr. Artusi also served as the vice president and general manager of RF Semiconductor Division. Prior to that, he led the power semiconductor business unit.
