Sprint Customers in Columbus Can Now Experience Faster Mobile Broadband Service

Sprint customers in Columbus, Ga., can now do more with wireless thanks to a faster mobile broadband network from Sprint (NYSE:S). Sprint Mobile Broadband with EV-DO (Evolution - Data Optimized) Revision (Rev.) A technology, combined with a wide variety of EV-DO Rev. A-capable devices, allow customers to send and receive e-mail with large file attachments, access the Internet in seconds and enjoy streaming video and other real-time applications, as well as location-based solutions, on the go.

On average, customers using EV-DO Rev. A experience significantly faster upload speeds of 350-500 Kbps (compared with 50-70 Kbps on EV-DO Rev. 0 networks) and download speeds of 600 Kbps-1.4 Mbps (up from 400-700 Kbps) on the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network. Sprint recently launched its Simply Everything domestic unlimited pricing plan. It provides customers with unlimited voice, data, text, e-mail, Web-surfing, Sprint TV(R), Sprint Music, GPS Navigation, Direct Connect(R) and Group Connect(R) for $99.99 a month. Sprint Mobile Broadband (EV-DO Rev. A-capable) Devices
