Undertone Networks Expands Sales Team in 3 Markets Nationwide
Undertone Networks, a premium online advertising network, proudly announced today the addition of three new directors to its sales management team. Mark Ailsworth, Brad Fox, and John Yearout will build and manage local sales teams in key markets including Chicago, Detroit and San Francisco.
Mark Ailsworth, a seasoned media professional and president of the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association (CIMA), was named to the new position of director of sales in Undertone’s Chicago office. Ailsworth joined Undertone from Pandora Media, where he was responsible for establishing the company’s Midwest sales operations. Prior to that, Ailsworth served as Midwest sales director at AOL Media Networks, where he worked closely with Fortune 500 clients including Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Best Buy, Target, Discover, and Unilever.
Brad Fox, formerly sales manager with AOL’s Advertising.com, joined Undertone as director of sales in Detroit. Fox will play a critical role in further developing relationships with existing auto industry clients, including Chrysler, Ford and General Motors, and establishing new partnerships both within and outside the automotive vertical. Fox has previously held senior-level sales, strategy, and account management positions with Edmunds.com, AutoPacific, D’Arcy Advertising, Young & Rubicam, and J. Walter Thompson.
In San Francisco, John Yearout will serve as director of sales with responsibility for the Rocky Mountain region, Northern California, and the Pacific Northwest. Yearout has a long tenure in media in the Bay Area and deep relationships in the digital community based on his past role managing the consumer electronics sales team at Vibrant Media, as well as his positions with The Wall Street Journal and J. Walter Thompson.
