Dell'Oro Group Reports 10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch Market Surpasses $600 Million in the Second Quarter

Meanwhile in the data center, the convergence towards Ethernet as the fabric for storage and networking led to Brocade's recent purchase of Foundry," Weckel added.
The report also addresses the Layer 4-7 application and traffic management market, which with new product announcements such as Cisco's Ace Appliance, Citrix's MPX, and F5's VIPRION, outgrew the overall Ethernet Switch market during the quarter.
