August 13, 2008
Repost This

The Dorothy Quincy Homestead will offer an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the historic home at Butler Road and Hancock Street.

Tours are free, though a donation is suggested. Tours will take place every 30 minutes.

The 322-year-old house, which was recently designated a National Historic Landmark, was a former meeting place for patriots including Josiah Quincy, John Hancock and John Adams. It was the childhood home of Dorothy Quincy Hancock, the wife of John Hancock.
